Watch part 4 & Freddy's Dead and then tell me which one is the worst.

Second, Freddy Krueger isn't really the villain in this movie. Jesse's latent homosexuality is the real monster; it's just represented as Freddy Krueger in the film. Think about it. There's guys pulling each others' shorts down & wrestling, that queer dance he does when he thinks he's alone, S&M showering with the gym coach after finding him at a gay bar, and, most convincingly, when he's about to get it on with the hot girl, he gets repulsed by his uncontrollable feelings and runs over to a guy's house in the middle of the night. He's possessed by a "monster" and the monster is his own gayness. Watch the first scene again. When he's on the bus with those girls, they make fun of him; because they can tell he's gay. Then, suddenly, his inner "Freddy" comes to life. This movie has everything to do with Jesse struggling to come to terms with his sexual identity and really nothing to do with Freddy at all.

Fun fact: The guy who played Jesse is gay in real life.Adam Blankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912950021231080106noreply@blogger.com
